Krótka wycieczka do Maine. Jechaliśmy wzdłuż wybrzeża Maine. Po drodze zatrzymywaliśmy się w Camden, Belfaście i Boothbay i nocowaliśmy tam. Każde miasteczko było przepiękne. Byliśmy w restauracji z najlepszymi homarami, jedliśmy pyszne lody i zwiedzaliśmy historyczne dzielnice handlowe każdego miasta. W końcu dotarliśmy do Bar Harbor. Mieszkaliśmy tam w Bar Harbor Inn. Wędrowaliśmy wieloma szlakami w Parku Narodowym Acadia, pływaliśmy statkiem po Somes Sound, jedliśmy w restauracji hotelowej Reading Room i zwiedzaliśmy okolice wyspy Mount Desert. Spędziliśmy 6 cudownych dni w Maine, jedynym stanie Nowej Anglii, którego nie znaliśmy jeszcze zbyt dobrze.
Kurzer Trip nach Maine. Wir fuhren entlang der Küste von Maine. Unterwegs machten wir Halt in Camden, Belfast und Boothbay und dort haben wir übernachtet. Jede Stadt war wunderschön. Wir gingen zu einem Hummerrestaurant, aßen Eis und erkundeten die historischen Einkaufsviertel jeder Stadt. Schließlich erreichten wir Bar Harbor und übernachteten im Bar Harbor Inn. Wir wanderten auf vielen Wegen im Acadia Nationalpark, machten eine Bootsfahrt im Somes Sound, aßen im Reading Room Restaurant und erkundeten Mount Desert Island. Wir verbrachten 6 wundervolle Tage in Maine, dem einzigen Bundesstaat Neuenglands, den wir noch nicht so gut kannten.
Short Maine trip. We took a trip along the coast of Main. Along the way we stopped at Camden, Belfast, and Boothbay and we stayed there overnight. Each town was gorgeous. We went to a lobster pound, ate ice cream, and explored around the historic shopping areas of each town. Finally we made it to Bar Harbor and stayed at the Bar Harbor Inn. We hiked many trails in Acadia National Park, went on a boat ride in Somes Sound and explored around Mount Desert Island. We spent 6 wonderful days in Maine, the only New England state we didn't know very well yet.
